I want your love, love, love, love.
Oops, guess I'm a tad too late.
MERRY CHRISTMAS PEOPLE!How was your christmas?
Yesterday I went to watch a movie, AVATAR. It was an awesome movie, but the staff there pissed me off at the end of the movie.
Most people, or should I say 99% of the people who watch movies at a cinema tend to just leave the cinema after the credits START to roll.
Well, I don't.
Yes, I'm the 1% or perhaps even the 0.1% who does that.
So, apparently I was standing around reading the credits and suddenly one of the cinema staff came up to me and said, " There's nothing at the end. ".
Fuck yeah, I know there's nothing at the end! Can't I read the credits?
Offended, I replied, "
I KNOW, I'M READING THE CREDITS! ".
The dude probably got frighten by me and quickly backed off, mumbling "sorry, sorry" to himself.
I mean, WTF is wrong with reading the credits? Just because I don't behave like supposedly, "normal" people who just leave right after they see the credits rolling doesn't mean I'm waiting for the credits to finish just to see if there is anything special after the credits, RIGHT?
Then tell me, what are credits for in the first place?
TO GIVE RECOGNITION TO THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THIS MOVIE.If these people didn't exist, there wouldn't be movies.
If there were no movies, there wouldn't be cinemas.
If there were no cinemas, YOU WON'T EVEN HAVE THIS FUCKIN' JOB!
Damn, what's wrong with people nowadays?
I watch credits because I wanna know who are the people who made this movie, what are the companies involved. Of course I know there are probably 1000 over names inside the entire credits roll but I like to take note of the different companies that are involved.
And the reason why I feel that reading credits is so important it's because,
TEN YEARS DOWN THE ROAD, YOU WILL SEE MY NAME IN THE CREDITS AT YOUR NEAREST CINEMA, IN THE LATEST BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE. :DIt's gonna be hard, but you can be damn right, I'm gonna try my very best.
That's my goal for you.
Happy boxing day + Tsunami day people.
CIAOS!
